We are seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance and condition of our production equipment and facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for problem-solving and innovation.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:
1.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and longevity.
2.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment, utilizing PLC troubleshooting techniques.
3.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and plan preventive maintenance tasks.
4.
Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production schedules.
5.
Implement improvements to equipment and processes to enhance efficiency and safety.
6.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including parts and supplies used.
7.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
8.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to share knowledge, improve procedures, and ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
2.
Proven experience in PLC troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and electrical maintenance.
3.
A strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, including how to operate, maintain, and repair it.
4.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of complex mechanical and electrical issues.
5.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
6.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative attitude.
7.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
8.
High level of safety awareness and adherence to company safety policies.
9.
A relevant technical degree or certification is preferred.
